Sandra Williams, Master Academic Mentor
Sandra, a native to Los Angeles, is an avid and eager student of many disciplines including math, science and, her great passion, languages. She completed two semesters at L'Univerisité Rennes II, including the F.L.E. curriculum (Français comme Langue Étrangère) on how to teach French as a foreign language. Exposed to the Spanish language at a very young age, she continued to study Spanish and French at Occidental College. In 2004, she was awarded her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in French Literature. She currently works as a tutor for students of all ages while she pursues her studies of the Korean language, and trains for long distance cycling tours.

After helping students maximize their SAT scores for years, Achieve Tutorials’ elite group of SAT tutors decided to write a test prep guide like no other. Now in its second edition, Maximum SAT is a best seller, favored by top students who want to get ahead in the fiercely competitive college admissions game.
Maximum SAT clearly covers the “insider” tips, tricks and traps students need to know to maximize their scores in each section of the SAT — Math, Critical Reading and Writing. At the end of each lesson, there are plenty of sample problems and timed drills to help students master the techniques they just learned. But what makes Maximum SAT truly unique is that each lesson also includes pointers to real SAT questions in The Official SAT Study Guide, which is written by the actual test writers — something no other SAT prep guide can boast.
Our philosophy is that the best way to prepare for the SAT is to learn SAT skills and techniques and then practice with real SAT questions. To get the most from Maximum SAT, be sure to use it side by side with the The Official SAT Study Guide.
